Teresa Kennedy-Jones built Joylingua from a deeply personal insight: language learning should be joyful, human, and confidence-building—not stiff or stressful. After struggling herself with traditional language education, she discovered the transformational power of personalized, mindset-shifting coaching—and wanted to bring that experience to others.
When Teresa approached me, she was in a moment of brand uncertainty. Her existing platform didn’t reflect her warmth, depth, or the true impact of her work. Our goal was to clarify her direction, elevate her presence, and create a brand experience that radiated both clarity and joy.
1. Strategic Brand Foundation
We began with a comprehensive brand strategy workshop to clarify Teresa’s vision, values, and ideal audience. Through this process, we identified a key insight: Joylingua’s power lies in its emotional approach to language learning—especially for international learners in Switzerland seeking confidence and connection.
2. Brand Naming, Positioning & Messaging
We refined her positioning and messaging, and renamed the brand Joylingua—a name that evokes both clarity and emotion. The brand narrative shifted from generic coaching to a promise of empowered communication and joyful transformation.
3. Visual Identity & Brand Expression
Joylingua’s visual identity was designed to feel soft, open, and human—pastel tones, playful round shapes, and minimalist patterns created a sense of calm and trust. We developed a full visual system and designed assets for both digital and print touchpoints.
4. Website Design & Social Presence
We created a simple, elegant website that communicates Teresa’s story, approach, and offerings. Paired with custom social media branding, this digital presence invites potential clients into a space that feels personal, empowering, and deeply aligned.
